The Opportunity
Are you keen to progress to the next step in your career, where you will be at the forefront of driving all project control support at Hinkley Point C? If yes, our client is currently seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager with experience of working in a large-scale project environment. You will have experience in multiple Project Controls functions and understand how integrated Project Controls management information is achieved. This knowledge and your previous experience on major programmes and projects will enable you to assure and challenge outputs produced by the various project controls functions.

You Will Have the Following Qualifications and Experience
1. Degree or equivalent qualifications in business analysis, accounting, finance, construction, engineering, or project management.
2. Experience of working as a Project Controls Engineer or Manager on large and complex infrastructure projects.
3. Knowledge within more than one of the Project Controls Functions of: cost control, estimating, scheduling, change management, and risk management.
4. Detailed understanding of earned value analysis.
5. Experience of successfully managing a team in a matrix structure on a project.
6. An ability to manage senior stakeholders.
7. Deliverables focused and an accomplished problem solver, rising to meet any challenge.
The Setting for the Role
Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licensed site. These can include nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gases, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high-pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels. A full site induction will be provided, and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
