Forest Care Selection is working in partnership, with an established charitable organisation that operates residential, nursing and day centres for elderly clients with old age and Dementia. They have an exciting new job opportunity for a Registered Manager to join their brand-new care home based in the Reading, Berkshire area. The home has been purpose-built and has modern facilities for the residents and their families, including a cinema, salon, library and a bar to social in. The Registered Manager in Reading, Berkshire will be responsible for: Overseeing the running of this brand new care home and will report to the director of operations. Ensuring the service compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Developing the service and ensuring it is promoted and marketed effectively to achieve the required occupancy levels. Building relationships with external partners and raising the profile within the local community. Holding the registration for the service and line managing staff within the home. Health and Safety across the site. To be considered for the Registered Manager position, you will need: Experience working with elderly clients with old age and Dementia, or in a similar setting. Experience in holding CQC registration in a similar specialist setting. The ability to lead a specialised team of professionals. Ability to manage the budget and finances across the site. Experience in driving occupancy levels, marketing homes and building relationships within the local community. Ability to meet company targets and deliver business objectives.
