Head of Sales

MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Dynamic and Growing Consumer Goods business, searching for a Head of Sales to lead and develop their sales function. This role is pivotal in strengthening existing retailer relationships and driving long-term success across the UK and International Markets. This is permanent role based in Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, and upskill the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Manage top-level retail accounts, acting as a strong and strategic representative of the business.
* Drive organic growth within current accounts, focusing on long-term partnerships rather than aggressive business development.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments such as marketing, finance, and product development to optimise sales strategies.
* Ensure a seamless execution of sales strategies across multiple regions (UK, Europe, Australia).
* Be a key decision-maker, effectively managing both upwards (senior stakeholders) and downwards (sales team).
* Oversee budget management and sales forecasting to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met.
* Stay informed about market trends, retailer needs, and competitive landscapes to refine sales approaches.
