About the employer: ● Service User is a 15 years old boy. He's very social and likes to chat about what happened during his day at school. He likes fast cars, buses and school. His hobbies are watching fast cars on TV, he likes to play on his tablet and he likes having a drive around in the car or bus. He has a pet lovebird that he likes very much. ● Service User can't support himself with simple things like simple hygiene or feeding himself. That's because his right arm is amputated and the left one doesn't work. Which is in a cast. He has congenital insensitivity to pain - hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy type 4. He has issues with temperature control. He has a mild learning disability. He has had a surgery on his hip which made him lose the ability to walk so he has to stay on a wheelchair to move around. He often stays in the hospital as an inpatient. He needs someone to stay with him during the day or night. Main duties: ● Personal care and hygiene. Support using the toilet ● Accessing social activities ● Feeding ● Performing exercises/physiotherapy.
