Description Salary: £38,626 - £40,476 Pro rata Hours per week: 18.5 hours Interview date: Tuesday 18 February 2025 Wiltshire Home Improvement Team – Empowering Housing Solutions for All in Wiltshire An exciting development opportunity has arisen in our Housing Enabling Team, part of the Council’s Major Projects Service. As a Principal Development Officer, working both independently and alongside others, you will play a vital part in facilitating the delivery of a range of Affordable Homes to meet the needs of Wiltshire’s residents. This will require involvement in a diverse range of projects which may present challenges related to political sensitivity, funding arrangements, or the scope and scale of the negotiations that are required. To succeed in this role, it would be an advantage to have relevant professional experience working in the delivery of affordable housing and an in-depth knowledge and understanding of relevant planning policies and procedures. Excellent communication skills and experience in building and maintaining effective partnerships including engaging with a diverse range of external stakeholders will be essential. Why us?
