Business Development Executive Job Summary:
To achieve and exceed targets and KPIs, whilst maintaining the highest level of service to customers.
Key Accountabilities:
To work in tandem with your partner field-based Business Manager to maximise business in your given geographical area to cover:
* Volume and 'close' rate
* Share of wallet
* Profitability
* Penetration of products and services
* Retention
The team of four will be expected to cover for each other over holidays and absence.
Key Tasks: To work as part of the Account Management team, supporting the development and implementation of sales strategies and the achievement of agreed targets.
Responsibilities across key areas include:
Prospecting:
* To work with your Business Manager partner to identify prospecting strategies and develop an ongoing action plan.
* To work with MD and Marketing Exec to ensure coordinated prospecting activity is always in place.
* To contact prospects as part of the above plan, sell the benefits and secure appointments for your Business Manager, managing the journey plan.
* To take responsibility for the accurate management of the CRM tool for your area.
Account Management:
* Work with own base of customers to drive connections.
* Work with BM base of customers to drive business.
* Work with all accounts in your geographical area.
DA Management:
* To work with the commercial team to ensure DAs are presented in the best format, first time.
* To work with the commercial team to ensure DAs are turned around within SLA.
* To work with the commercial team to ensure maximum money for the partner is negotiated.
* To manage the DA reporting tool for your area.
* To ensure customers are retained at every available opportunity OOC.
* To work with your manager to ensure customers on your out of contract base are minimised.
* To manage and update the OOC reporting tool for your area.
Product and Service Penetration:
* To maximise the penetration of new products and services into the partners in your geographical area.
* To effectively communicate any new products and services.
* To engage with external suppliers and take responsibility for updating personal knowledge.
