HR Manager Full or Part Time £55,000-£60,000 Dorking, Surrey Hybrid My client is a commercial organisation based in Dorking, Surrey. An organisation with strong values and organisational culture that is truly people centric. This role is initially for an 18-month fixed term contract. As HR Manager our client is keen to connect with HR professionals with specific expertise and experience in promoting DEI initiatives, understanding of Employee Resource Groups (ERG's) and supporting programmes. Key also, is experience of enhancing employee wellbeing through wellness programs and supporting policies. You will provide day to day support to the team across generalist HR Activities including employee relations, policy development and Employment Law. The role will be crucial for promoting diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across the business. In addition, you will provide vital support in employee mental health and wellbeing initiatives. Role responsibilities Create and review company policies, guidelines and processes to ensure that all HR materials are up to date, in line with current employment legislation and take a best practice approach. Ensuring that all key stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities and effective implementation strategies Managing complex operational HR and employee relations matters by providing professional ad-vice and guidance in a timely manner and providing support to the HR team Actively manage disciplinary and grievance issues across all businesses, keeping relevant parties informed and up to date Manage HR projects as assigned by the Senior HR Manager, ensuring effective implementation and follow up action, as appropriate Develop and implement strategies to promote a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment including the creation of new initiatives and projects To create initiatives supporting employees physical, mental and emotional wellbeing as well as encouraging work life balance Consistently support the development and implementation of HR initiatives, systems and best practice with individual development and idea creation To build, manage and maintain strong inter-departmental relationships and communication within the business Essential Experience Excellent understanding of employment law and best practice Experience of managing complex employee relations activities, i.e. disciplinaries and grievances Project management experience Experience of supporting business change processes and training solutions Previous experience of working with / influencing management levels on a range of HR issues Benefits 35 hour working week if full-time (can be 4 days per week) Company matched pension scheme - up to 10% 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays (increases with length of service) Enjoy your Birthday day off EV Car Scheme Free eye tests Cycle to work scheme Free onsite parking Season Ticket Loan Life Assurance Employee Assistant Programme If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
