Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to support our dedicated teaching staff and help nurture the academic and personal growth of our pupils in Years 3 to 6. The ideal candidate will have experience working in KS2 and will be able to support both individual and group learning, working alongside the class teacher to help students achieve their best.
- Supporting Teaching and Learning: Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring that all students are supported in their learning.
- Small Group and One-to-One Support: Provide tailored support for individual students or small groups, particularly those with additional needs or challenges, to ensure they can access the curriculum.
- Classroom Management: Help maintain a positive and orderly learning environment, ensuring students stay engaged and focused.
- Promoting Inclusion: Support a diverse range of learners, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), to help them thrive in a mainstream classroom environment.
- Collaboration with Staff: Work closely with other teaching assistants, teachers, and the school leadership team to ensure that all students receive the appropriate support.
- General Classroom Duties: Help with classroom preparation, resources, and assisting with student activities, ensuring that learning materials are ready and accessible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
