This exciting new role will strengthen the existing coaching capability within the Royal Naval Leadership Academy (RNLA) and extend the delivery of coaching qualifications for instructors.
As a Coaching Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering training (train the trainer) to members of the Royal Navy, enabling them to implement coaching models or leadership development programs. This initiative aims to ensure a standardized approach to coaching and to enhance the 'force multiplier' effect by fostering trained coaches who can establish their own coaching networks as required.
This role will require regular travel throughout the UK.

What you will be doing:
* Delivering Level 3 & 5 CMI Coaching Workshops onsite at Royal Navy sites UK wide.
* Pre and post course administration.
* Supporting with positive retention activities.
* Meeting with service personnel to support with learning goals.
* Motivating, inspiring, and supporting educators/trainers to achieve a high-quality learning environment which has a positive impact for learners.
* Supporting with CPD activities.
What we're looking for:
* Hold a CMI or ILM L5 Coaching qualification or higher qualification (Ideally you will have L3 as well).
* Hold teaching qualification of L3 AET or above.
* Must be able to provide working examples of previous teaching experience.
* Experience of successfully delivering training/briefing/coaching sessions to groups.
* Strong MS Office skills.
* Awareness of the military.
* Flexible with the ability to travel throughout the UK on a regular basis.
* Must be able to be cleared to UK SC level.

Project Selborne is a wide scale, 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernize training for the RN.
