We are seeking a talented Senior User Experience Designer to work on our next-generation cloud solutions serving the construction industry. Your role will involve synthesizing your learnings and creating solutions that address customer pain points and meet business objectives. You will actively champion human-centred design and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

This job can be based in our Sheffield offices with a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
* Create artifacts (wireframes, diagrams, task flows, storyboards, prototypes, documentation) to outline current conditions and proposed solutions, aligning strategies and fostering innovation
* Compare and prioritize approaches to meet design goals, balancing customer needs, business constraints, and technological realities
* Assist in customer research activities during planning and early design phases
* Validate designs with customers and partners, making iterative improvements
* Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to define and implement great experiences
* Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful implementation of design specifications
* Contribute to the maturation of experience design discipline within the team and company
* Lead design-thinking exercises to solve complex challenges collaboratively
Required qualifications and experience
* 4+ years of professional design experience
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, understanding customer workflows and creating effective prototypes and designs
* Quality portfolio of recent UX projects
* Ability to visualize and prototype solutions at various fidelity levels
* Excellent communication skills, able to distill complex ideas
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders
* Skilled in human-centred design methods
* Experience in research methods such as interviews, ethnography, and user testing
* Ability to manage projects from vague concepts to detailed execution
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience applying UX within Agile environments
* Experience with 3D graphics and Autodesk products
* Experience with user research, analytics, and remote testing platforms
* Experience in large, distributed enterprise organizations
