The Orchestra of Opera North is looking for an experienced, dynamic and well-motivated musician to fill the role of Section Principal Percussion.
The Orchestra of Opera North holds a unique place amongst British orchestras. Universally praised by audiences and critics alike, the Orchestra is the only ensemble in the country to have a year-round dual role in the opera house and concert hall. With headquarters in Leeds and deep roots across the community, we devise work to tour throughout the North of England, as well as nationally and internationally, and invest in dedicated educational partnerships throughout each season.

Opera North is looking for an experienced and well-motivated individual to fill the role of Governance Manager.
This role supports the overall governance framework of Opera North, its related charities (Opera North Future Fund and Friends of Opera North) and its subsidiary company, Opera North Trading Ltd. It provides essential support in relation to the Board and Board Committees and leads on compliance activities. The Governance Manager will help to foster a culture of compliance, professionalism and ethical standards across the organisation supported by strong governance practice.
We are open to considering this role as either 28 hours (4 days, part-time) or 35 hours (5 days, full-time) per week. Please note, the advertised salary is based on a full-time equivalent.
Salary: £35,000-£40,000.
