Description ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Biosciences team as Laboratory Technicians. In this role, you will provide essential technical support for teaching and research activities within our laboratories. Key Responsibilities: Assist in delivering high-quality technical services for teaching and research in the Biosciences laboratories. Support the preparation and setup of practical sessions for undergraduate and master's teaching programs. Provide support to research areas within the faculty. Maintain specialist laboratory spaces and equipment. Manage and implement health and safety protocols within the laboratory environment. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, highly organised and team oriented. Available Roles Permanent Position: 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday) Fixed-Term Position: 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) for a duration of 9 months, with an expected start date in August 2025 Further information is available in the job description. Working alongside technicians, senior technicians, scientific officers and technical managers who strive to create high quality teaching and research laboratory environments. Experience of receiving and responding to enquiries from/to customers. Experience managing and responding to H&S concerns.
