A new instruction for a part time Trainee Legal Secretary with an established practice in Gillingham.

Position Highlights:
There is some degree of flexibility on the ideal candidate:
1. Ideal for someone perhaps working in a similar capacity within a solicitors office (and within any area, e.g., family, probate, conveyancing etc.), or the position is also considered eminently suitable for a medical secretary with experience in dictation work and letter typing.
2. Accuracy and attention to detail is paramount.
3. Ability to manage a busy workload with minimal supervision and work to tight deadlines.
4. Good communication skills, with a confident, friendly, and approachable manner both face to face and over the telephone.
5. Good working knowledge of Word.
6. Audio and copy typing of all correspondence.
7. Answering the telephone in a polite and efficient manner.
8. Undertaking general administrative duties including updating client details.
9. Arranging appointments and dealing with clients.
10. Accessing and inputting data onto the firm's client case management system.
11. Working as part of a friendly team of other secretarial colleagues, assisting with secretarial and telephone cover as required.
12. The ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
