Role: Offshore HSE Medic

Rotation: 2/2 - Flexible
Start Date: 3rd March
Duration: Initial Campaign until Mid/End of March - Then Mid April for approx. 3-Months + Possible Extension
Rates: £500 Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Clearance: BPSS (DBS/DS, Financial Probity, Employment History) + Medical Questionnaire & Proof of Right to Work in the UK
Responsibilities:
* To review declared medicines and medical conditions to confirm if a person is suitable to board
* Provide treatments for everyday health concerns
* To provide medical treatment (with the support of 24hr tele medici9ne onshore support) for all persons injured at work
* Monitor the stock of medical equipment on board and re-order against an minimum stock/ equipment list
* Transfer to offshore assets to provide stabilisation treatment and support the recovery of injured persons who are unable to return to the mother vessel without medical treatment first.
* Deliver first aid familiarisation training – this is to prevent skill fade and therefore the medic does not need to be a registered trainer.
* Support medical response drills
Requirements:
* Full GWOs; Sea Survival, Manual Handling, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights
* UK HSE Offshore Medic Certificate
* Registered nurse, paramedic or army medic desirable
* Eligibility to work in the UK to be considered for these positions
