Job Summary
Please note this post is temporary to cover maternity leave for six months or until current post holder returns.
Salary will be pro-rated for part-time hours.
Work pattern - Monday to Friday 8am to 1pm
You will be required to be adaptable and work as part of a team that supports the development of high quality early years services for children and families. You will provide children with a range of appropriate experiences and learning opportunities suitable for their age and stage of development. Therefore, you will have a sound working knowledge of local and national curriculum guidance and care standards. You will support the model of a safe, caring, stimulating and inclusive environment for parents and families.
You will be enthusiastic and articulate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
The successful candidate must possess a relevant childcare qualification as defined in the role profile. REHIS food hygiene certificate, Training in Makaton, First Aid Certification and Autism Awareness is desirable. You should have a minimum of one year’s experience in a childcare setting and experience of working with children who have a range of ASN.
