This role focuses on supporting the Alarm Fitting Team in producing high-quality security systems for a global client base.
Role Summary:
As an Assembly Operative in the Alarm Fitting Team, you’ll be responsible for assembling alarm systems using a variety of specialised tools and equipment. Success in this role requires effective communication, strong teamwork, and a high level of precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble alarm components using equipment such as a million machine, chop mitre saw, drills, and cutters.
* Ensure proper handling and accurate assembly of parts to meet quality standards.
* Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines.
* Organise and store materials in the correct racking area.
* Pick materials and assist in gathering raw materials under supervision.
* Uphold the company's core values.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Previous assembly experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
* Proficiency with hand tools and equipment such as million machines, chop mitre saws, drills, and cutters.
* Strong communication skills (written and spoken).
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
* Reliable, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
