Our client makes a range of popular sauces, chutneys, and preserves which are sold across the UK through independent food retailers, delis, farm shops, and other retailers.
Their business has grown rapidly over the last 4 years due to ongoing success and adding a major food outlet to their client list. As such, they are now looking to add to the small but enthusiastic team.
Position: Office Manager
They are now looking to add an office manager to their team, to assist and manage the day-to-day office requirements.
Responsibilities
1. Manage sales administration tasks, including taking and processing orders, invoices, dealing with queries, and ensuring the customer receives a first-class service.
2. Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and provide support regarding products and services.
3. Undertake daily invoicing.
4. Book transport company to dispatch orders.
5. Maintain an organised office environment, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly and efficiently.
6. Handle incoming sales orders and make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers.
7. Manage a team of 4 part-time tasting staff, liaising with customers to organise and implement tasting events.
8. Assist the MD with diary management and general running of the company.
Experience
1. Proven experience in sales administration or a similar role is required, minimum 4 years.
2. Strong computer literacy in using accounting software and Excel.
3. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
4. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple tasks effectively.
5. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure.
