We are seeking an Operations Manager to join a fun and friendly team. You will need to be experienced in the key operational areas of a customer facing business, and ideally from either leisure or hospitality. You will thrive in busy environment, and be hands on with a can do attitude.
This position requires strong leadership skills, and able to work as part of a team, bring a positive attitude with your staff and fellow managers. You'll be responsible for the day to day running of the operations for a busy, family run leisure and hospitality business.
1. To maintain a high quality, safe and well run day to day business, delivering exceptional customer service.
2. Manage the daily operations, ensuring staff have clearly defined duties and objectives with measurable performance systems in place.
3. Provide strong, inclusive and supportive leadership to proactively manager, coach and train the team, including supervisors and team leaders.
4. You will share with other duty management on a rota basis including weekends and Bank Holidays.
5. Actively contribute to the development and implementation of new projects, activities and events alongside Directors and other managers.
6. To manage HR matters including recruitment and induction, and staff appraisals and performance, the training programme, disciplinary and grievance procedures in addition to any day to day staff matters.
