Your role and responsibilities With a main focus on the delivery of training and continuous professional development, this challenging and varied role holds responsibilities across a wide range of disciplines including Early Years Inclusion, the Early Years Foundation Stage, and Childcare Business Development. It requires direct support to providers to help them improve the quality of provision for children. You will be working across Suffolk and based at either West Suffolk House -Bury St Edmunds, Endeavour House - Ipswich or Riverside - Lowestoft to develop the vibrant childcare and early education market in Suffolk. Base will be agreed upon appointment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with Qualified Teacher Status, Early Years Professional/Early Years Teacher Status. You will: provide training, support and challenge to early years professionals working in the private, voluntary, independent and maintained sectors provide training and guidance for those working directly with vulnerable children and their families (including those with special educational needs and disabilities) support the development of quality early education for children aged 9 months to four years, and for school aged children in wraparound provision. You will need Recent Early Years practice experience or experience in an Early Years advisory role. A sound understanding of the early years and childcare sector, with a detailed knowledge of relevant policy and practice. Relevant qualification or experience in the delivery of training to adults.
