Southport College is looking for a Lecturer in Brickwork to join our Construction Department on a part time (0.5) basis.
You will teach and assess on our full-time and apprenticeship bricklaying programmes. This will involve delivering practical skills in the workshop and theory sessions in the classroom, as well as assessing learner progress through their qualifications. You may also teach across a variety of construction programmes and assess apprentices in the workplace.
You must hold a Level 3 competency qualification in a construction discipline, preferably brickwork, and a recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to undertake in-service training. You will also possess previous relevant industry experience, as well as previous construction teaching experience.
