Computing and Digital at South Staffordshire College are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled teacher to support our Podcasting course. Join our dynamic team, which has experienced significant growth and investment.
The successful candidate will:
1. Support high expectations in motivating learners and developing their craft.
2. Possess a high level of technical competence and up-to-date knowledge of practical Podcasting practices.
3. Assist learners in planning, producing, and publishing content, while fostering a general understanding of Podcasting.
4. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Be knowledgeable about working in a creative environment.
6. Maintain a proactive approach to developing new skills to support evolving technologies and software used in the industry.
This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to our growing provision and support the region's aspirations as a digital and creative county.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree in a Media Production-related field.
* A full teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS) or be working towards one.
* Experience in teaching.
* Confidence in using a range of software, including Adobe Suite or equivalent.
