Located in Solihull, this inclusive and dedicated school is looking to welcome a new team member who shares their passion for supporting students. Prior experience is not essential-what matters most is a positive and enthusiastic attitude! Within the first two weeks, you'll have the chance to complete up to 35 professional training courses, providing excellent opportunities for career growth and progression on the pay scale.
- Implements ABA principles and a pyramid approach to education, equipping pupils with effective communication tools such as the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
- Caters to young children with autism who face challenges in mainstream school environments.
- Offers a personalised, differentiated curriculum designed to meet each pupil's unique needs.
- Boasts a welcoming and supportive team focused on prioritising pupils' well-being and progress.
- Provides a range of extracurricular activities to help pupils develop vital life skills.
- Plan and deliver tailored teaching sessions using ABA strategies and PECS (when applicable).
- Engage in regular professional development and training sessions with senior leaders.
- Work closely with children diagnosed with autism in a High Dependency Unit, providing one-to-one and small group support.
- Collaborate with a professional team, managing your own workload while contributing to shared goals.
