Job Title: Internal Sales Executive
Location: Tamworth
Reports to: Regional Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday, days, 37.5 hours per week
Role
The role of the Internal Sales Executive is to support Branch & regional Sales targets and to attain monthly and annual sales targets for the branches. You will look to identify opportunities and maintain customer relationships to maximise sales potential, champion business objectives and ensure strong focus on margin, volume & profit.
Mandatory Responsibilities
1. Adherence to all organisational policies
2. Ensuring all tasks are completed to agreed deadlines for all customers.
3. Work efficiently and effectively.
4. Ensure effective communication with the Customer and Branch Managers
5. Accurate weekly and monthly reporting
Role Responsibilities
6. Manage a selection of existing accounts to achieve maximum business.
7. Open new accounts and ensure they continue to develop profitably.
8. Accurately take and input orders into the system
9. Providing quotations
10. Maximize add-on sales.
11. Make proactive telephone calls to lapsed accounts and potential new customers.
12. Collaborate closely with Branch Managers to ensure correct products are delivered on time.
13. Regularly engage with external sales and credit control teams
14. Work collaboratively to create awareness in the customer base of the full range of product offerings
15. Focus on qualifying leads.
16. Chase outstanding quotations
17. Continuously monitor market trends, competitors and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Skills/Abilities/Qualifications
27. Previous internal sales experience
28. Sales experience in a construction related distribution
29. Good level of numeracy & IT levels
30. Strong communication skills
31. Ability to build & maintain key relationships with customers
32. A calm individual capable of working well under pressure.
