Position: Registered Manager - Children's Home (EBD)
Location: Coppull, Chorley
Salary: £40K+ per Annum plus PRP Bonuses (negotiable, depending on experience)
Hours: Full-Time
PSR Healthcare are thrilled to partner with a growing and forward-thinking care provider in the search for an exceptional dual Registered Manager to oversee two Children's Residential Homes in Chorley - just a stone's throw from one another! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact in children's care, supporting young people find their place of belonging in a nurturing and therapeutic environment for their positive development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire a passionate care team, cultivating a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
* Manage a motivated staff team, including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Residential Care Workers.
* Tailor care plans to meet each child's unique needs and ensure the highest standards of care.
* Ensure full compliance with company standards, Children's Homes Regulations, and OFSTED requirements.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Local Authorities and Care Quality Groups.
* Maintain accurate records, including care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
* Champion continuous improvement and coordinate holistic support to enhance the quality of care provided to children and young people.
Skills & Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience managing a Children's Home / Service (Deputy Managers ready for the next step are encouraged to apply).
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children's Residential Care (or equivalent) - or a commitment to work towards it.
* In-depth knowledge of OFSTED regulations, legislation, and best practices in children's residential care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with children, families, and external partners.
