The Role:
They are seeking a skilled Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team. This role offers a blend of fieldwork and office/home-based responsibilities, providing the opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct legionella risk assessments at a wide variety of customer sites.
* Perform site surveys to gather asset data.
* Produce detailed legionella risk assessment reports in compliance with HSE guidelines.
* Create schematic drawings using AutoCAD (training provided).
* Recommend preventive measures and control strategies to mitigate the risk of Legionnaires’ disease.
* Collaborate with their sales team to provide quotes for remedial actions and compliance work.

Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week including travel.
Location:
* Primarily field-based across the Southwest, with some nationwide travel.
* You will be managed from their head office in Thornbury near Bristol.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a City and Guilds qualification in legionella risk assessing.
* Proficient in AutoCAD or similar software.
* Extensive knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274.
* Excellent report writing and technical skills.
* Strong problem-solving capabilities and a methodical approach to projects.
* A degree or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
* Must hold a full UK driving license.
