This is a back-of-house role that has a non-exhaustive list of functions. The postholder will need a wide variety of administrative and IT skills as well as experience with data, information, complaints, and awareness of clinical terminology. Experience working in a healthcare environment would be preferable.
Main duties of the job
* Opening all incoming documentation, sorting clinical documents for scanning
* Prioritising urgent/ to be actioned documents and working alongside our commissioned provider for coding and scanning
* Scanning/coding in-house documentation (ECGs, asthma score, 24 hour ECGs/BP)
* Triaging all incoming clinical letters
* Prioritise and respond to all incoming emails
* E-consultation and Healthier Together administration and clinical team allocation
* GP workflow functions understanding about GP allocated work and priorities
* Scanning of all registration forms and supporting with patient online access
* Coding of RESPECT forms and communicating with GPs accordingly
* File registration forms and online access forms electronically
* Monitoring emails throughout the day
* Monitoring e-consultations throughout the day
* Responding to registration queries from Healthtech
* Clearing outstanding documents on EMIS and managing the throughput of incoming administrative traffic
* Responding to Surrey Health queries
* Clinical waste and respect forms administration
* Liaising with our clinical notes storage provider to archive and retrieve notes as required
* There may be occasion and requirement to carry out other tasks dependent on workload.
