A mainstream primary school located in West Northampton is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a part-time role.
The successful candidate will provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the learning and development of pupils with SEN in both individual and group settings.
* Implement strategies and interventions outlined in EHCPs.
* Assist the classroom teacher in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
* Foster positive relationships with students to enhance their confidence and self-esteem.
* Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
* Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs support.
* Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
