Part Time Finance Officer / Finance Manager required in Wisbech. Our client is a leading European manufacturing & logistics company and as part of their strategic growth plan they are looking to appoint a part time Finance Officer / Finance Manager to join the senior leadership team. This is a site-based role where you will oversee all aspects of internal finance tasks including payroll, client invoicing and accounts related queries raised by the internal team. The Finance Officer will also be expected to help document and maintain site finance procedures, updating and implementing as required. Customer service lies at the core of our operations, so the successful candidate will ideally have experience in a client-driven finance / accountancy role. We are looking for someone who has both finance and commercial experience and able to work with cross-functional teams, influencing change, and explaining financial data to non-financial personnel. The Finance Officer will be responsible for: Administering payroll for 350 staff working closely with 3rd party payroll provider Process invoices and credit reports with all customers & Clients Prepare weekly and monthly Financial Reports, highlighting results inline with key financial performance indicators Respond to queries and provide assistance on finance related matters to all customers, group stakeholders & third parties as required Assist in preparation and management of Annual Budgets and Monthly Forecasts Assist in provision of financial data to support key business decisions including employee pay rates, pricing and contract terms with suppliers Review all financial processes and implement enhancements to improve efficiencies Skills Required for this Finance Manager / Finance Officer role: Proven experience of working in a finance / accounting environment Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask Strong analytical and report writing skills Self-motivated and able to work flexibly Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills Keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure Benefits and rewards being offered: Salary £48,000 per year – Pro rata (£24.60 per hour) Enhanced annual leave (pro-rata) plus bank holidays Employee Benefit Scheme Contributory Pension scheme Adhoc Company Bonuses related to performance This is a Permanent Part-Time position working 3 days a week, ideally 8:00 – 16:00 Monday – Wednesday.
