Are you a Workshop Technician or similar with experience in electronic engineering and offshore surveying looking for an opportunity with a company who puts staff development first priority?
This company is a leading global provider of specialist subsea equipment to sectors including offshore renewables, marine science, and oil and gas. Having operated for over 20 years, the company is expanding, creating an opportunity for ambitious and innovative people.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Preparing and testing equipment that is being delivered to clients or returning from hire, ensuring all safety and business standards are being met.
2. Completing repair tasks, general warehouse and delivery operations.
3. Providing technical support.
The Role:
1. Ensuring all rental equipment is maintained to a high standard and ready for deployment to clients.
2. Completing function testing, software/firmware updates, and cable integrity checks.
3. Checking, inspecting, and documenting equipment returning from hire.
4. Identifying any issues with equipment in order to get them repaired.
The Person:
1. Knowledge of electronic engineering and the practices involved.
2. Experience in working with offshore surveying equipment.
3. Knowledge of interfacing survey sensors with acquisition software.
