We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced care/support practitioner to line manage our team of Support Workers within our fabulous housing support and care at home services in Fife.
At Fife Services, we support people with a variety of complex disabilities to live independently in their own tenancies throughout Fife or within our bright, fully adapted, small residential settings, based in Dunfermline centre and Rosyth. In these beautiful settings, each individual has their own bedroom, private or jack & jill bathrooms, and shared communal spaces.
Our days are filled with laughter, with a focus on activities on site and externally, such as going shopping, to the football, the cinema, or having a giggle at our games or themed days.
Our close-knit team of Team Leaders helps our support staff to provide 24-hour support 7 days a week, and they require a motivated and enthusiastic leader to join the team.

About the Role
You will be required to co-ordinate and supervise a team of support staff in delivering a high standard of social care practice using a person-centred approach that reflects individual customer's needs, wants, and aspirations. As a Team Leader, you will occasionally be delivering direct care including medication administration, personal care, and moving and assisting. Meaning it's not all about paperwork; you still get some hands-on practice.
A key part of this role is to coach, monitor, mentor, and develop the skill base within the staff team. You will do this by displaying leadership skills such as role modelling, decision making, being an effective communicator, having a positive attitude, commitment, and confidence in the role.

Hours: 36 hours per week
Location: Throughout Fife, mainly Dunfermline, Rosyth & Glenrothes
Travel: Driving Licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role
