Veolia is looking for a Maintenance Operations Engineer Apprentice to join our team in Chilton. In this role, you will get involved in maintaining and troubleshooting plant equipment, conducting performance testing, operating steam generation systems, and responding to operational issues.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Assist with all maintenance activities and tasks
* Responsible for regular compliance-driven checks
* Carry out safety checks, including emergency lighting checks
* Carry out stock duties, including regular inventory and maintain the workshop stays clean at all times
* Administration tasks related to the role, including defect reporting, raising orders, printing monthly reports
* General maintenance of buildings, including changing light bulbs and fluorescent tubes and to repair door handles
* Assist engineers in carrying out their duties, including skirting and roller replacement
