About the Role:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Assistant to join our team. If you have a minimum of 2+ years of experience processing payroll and are proficient in Sage 50c Payroll software, with a solid understanding of auto-enrolment pensions, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing payroll on a four weekly/monthly basis. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process payroll for employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
2. Use Sage 50c Payroll software to process and manage payroll data.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and company policies.
4. Administer and manage auto-enrolment pensions for eligible employees.
5. Provide support for payroll-related inquiries and issues.
6. Maintain confidential payroll records.
Required Experience & Skills:
1. 2+ years of experience in payroll processing.
2. Proficiency in Sage 50c Payroll software is essential.
3. Knowledge and experience with auto-enrolment pensions is essential.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time position with working days of Monday and Tuesday only. Working hours are flexible as long as you begin work by 10am each day, happy to accommodate hours from 8 to 12 per week. The role is office-based for the first few months, with the possibility of remote working thereafter.
