This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to make a significant impact in a hospital setting. As a Band 8a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our patients. Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for managing the dispensary and providing ward-based pharmaceutical services. Your duties will include reviewing and dispensing prescriptions, advising healthcare professionals on drug interactions and side effects, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. You will also be involved in patient counseling, medication therapy management, and contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care. Qualifications and Experience: Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital setting Dispensary or ward-based experience (ideally) Strong knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Commitment to continuous professional development Why work with Pulse?
