Summary YASA is looking for a Learning & Development Coordinator to be the first point of contact for all training requests within YASA. You will be responsible for the full range of L&D administration. You will work with managers to identify employee training needs and support with development plans and skills matrix. This role is for a 12-month fixed-term period to cover maternity leave in the team. Full-time or Part-time applications are accepted. Independently research and identify suitable external training providers. Administer training to members of staff through our online eLearning platform. Coordinate all learning and development aspects of our international standards e.g. ISO and IATF Be responsible for ensuring managers review their skills matrices and these are kept up to date. Partner with our Mercedes colleagues to ensure compliance with their mandatory training programmes. Monitor and report on L&D spend from the budget. Administer specific ISO and IATF training, making sure YASA remains compliant with government and industry standards. Maintain training records on our HRM system. Work closely with the Production Manager to design and deliver a complete package of training across our manufacturing areas. Help identify new learning opportunities to further extend YASA’s training offer in line with business requirements. Assist in the development and design of improved administrative procedures to promote the timely processing and submission of training requests. Ensure and action appropriate administration of all training-related activities. Identify suitable venues/activities for training events, give value for money and contribute to it being an enjoyable venue for employees. Coordinate travel schedules making recommendations for cost-saving and effective alternatives. Understand our business challenges and ask our managers appropriate questions in order to identify the right L&D solutions. To succeed in this role, we believe you'll need: Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communications skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and build and maintain relationships. Previous experience using/managing an online eLearning platform. The ability to prioritise own workload and managing multiple demands to meet deadlines. The ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and external training providers. Previous experience administering ISO standard training. Good understanding of the need for diplomacy and confidentiality. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. A flexible approach to work. Self-motivated with a can-do attitude. Though not expected, it would be very beneficial if you have: Previous experience working within an HR team. A familiarity with an HRM system. Knowledge of MS Project.
