Job Overview
To be responsible for stock inventory within the Supply and Delivery Service and at station level. To be responsible for ordering, recording, disposal and maintaining of stock including items such as medical consumables, Pharmacy products and uniform. To distribute stock to all Trust sites as and when required utilising the Supply and Delivery Service Trust vehicles. For the day-to-day safety and security of the Trust Supply and Delivery Site. To keep all legal records required by the Trust’s Medicines Governance Controlled Drug Policies and Home Office and their associated Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accurate and complete audit trails for all Trust medicines.
Main duties
Supply and Delivery Controller main duties include:
* Ordering, receiving and storing stocks.
* Processing orders both in house and at station level.
* Delivering goods out to stations, to include pharmacy products.
* Carrying out checking and other quality control processes.
* Supporting the returns and disposal processes.
* Making suggestions for improvements.
We are in the process of making changes to the ways in which we work in all areas to include Consumables, Pharmacy and Deliveries so as we are developing our service and are looking for committed people to be based from Skypark Site in Exeter, to receive deliveries, pick orders and cover drivers getting goods out to stations across the Trust. Working hours are generally Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30.
