Job Title: Conveyancing Assistant
Location: West Yorkshire
An opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Assistant to work within my client’s conveyancing team.
Role involves supporting Fee Earners with daily tasks such as:
1. Handling general inquiries
2. Assisting with property completions
3. Conducting property searches
4. Typing various correspondence
5. Communicating with clients, solicitors, referrers, and estate agents
6. Additional secretarial duties may be assigned as needed
Ideal candidate should be able to:
7. Work independently and effectively prioritize a busy workload
8. Demonstrate strong communication skills
9. Familiarity with SOS or other case management systems for preparing and processing forms is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates should be able to work as part of a team and support our experienced Fee Earners in everyday tasks such as dealing with general queries, assisting with completions, conducting searches, typing various letters, liaising with clients, solicitors, referrers, and estate agents. They will be expected to undertake other secretarial duties as required.
The successful applicant must be able to work on their own initiative and prioritise a busy workload. Good communication skills are essential. A working knowledge of SOS or other case management system to prepare and process letters and forms correctly is desirable but not essential.
