Now, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Tenancy Services Manager. This is a 12 month maternity cover position located in city centre, Edinburgh. You'll enjoy a workweek of Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. The salary ranges from £26,000 to £30,000pa. What the job involves:- Manage the day-to-day operation effectively and efficiently for the Tenancy Service team. Ensure the team deliver a high standard of work and that we are following all regulation and guidance set out in Tenancy Management. Driving KPI’s for the department and ensure there is cross collaboration from within the team. Set goals for your team to deliver exceptional service through 1:2:1’s, coaching and performance management. Be up to date with any regulatory changes that might affect our processes. Offering ideas and suggestions as to how we manage this effectively. Lead our Tenancy Service team and their day-to-day activities. Being able to adapt and be flexible to the challenging environment. This is a fast-paced environment where you will need to be practical minded to solve problems on the day. You will need to ensure that robust KPI’s are set in place that will allows us to meet the right service levels and demands of the business. These should align with the overall business objectives. Use automation and technology to drive performance. This will allow our teams to then focus on the right thing. Currently the 3rd party technology is Goodlord, and we need to ensure they are meeting KPI’s and delivering the right level of service for the business. Hold regular meetings with 3rd party stake holders to ensure we hold the right level of engagement. Ensure all notices are dealt with in the correct way. Ensuring the correct process is followed for any landlord and tenant notices making sure they meet the Letting agent code of conduct regulations. You will need to manage the resource of your team daily and planning to ensure there are no gaps in service and avoid satisfaction levels dropping. Instructing and updating processes to ensure we remain compliant with current regulations. Set clear goals, objectives and targets for the team to be able to deliver on their day job and contribute to the overall key performance indicator of the company. You will be required to evaluate this progress and understand how this impacts the operation. Clearly communicate to your team so they understand the business and how they can impact it. Conducting regular 1:2:1’s, performance and absence reviews. Coach team members on achieving goals and developing necessary skills to get results. This would involve developing team members performance, offering feedback and demonstrating the desired skills and expected work ethic. The ability to deal with conflict both within a team environment and from a customer perspective. Being able to demonstrate strong negotiation skills daily to resolve conflict and escalations. Work collaboratively with other Team Leaders specifically in the department offering support, working on joint projects, and working together to achieve the business objectives. One key area you need to consider is the relationship with the Tenancy team manager and how you will work together to support each other and in turn the overall department KPI’s. We’re not just looking for someone who fits our team: we want to be a good fit for you too We’re looking for individuals with qualities such as:- Ideally at least 1 years Property Management experience but not essential, it is preferable and will make the transition for the applicant easier with some sector knowledge. Previous experience in leading and management a team/line management duties.
