NextGear Capital UK and Ireland is looking for an ambitious Account Manager to cover maternity leave and to oversee and expand a diverse portfolio of Motor Retailers. As part of Cox Automotive, a global leader in automotive services, you’ll play a key role in empowering dealerships to succeed through innovative financial solutions. What You’ll Do As an Account Manager, you will be a strategic partner for dealerships, guiding them in purchasing, managing, and selling stock through tailored Stocking Plans. You’ll develop and manage your territory, creating relationships and driving growth for both new and existing accounts. Your role will include everything from identifying opportunities and onboarding new clients to managing risks and expanding dealership partnerships. Your Key Responsibilities Business Development: Build and execute a robust sales strategy to attract and retain dealership clients. Through cold calls, lead follow-ups, and referrals, you’ll create a pipeline of new business opportunities and hit performance targets for applications and account utilization. Account Management: Provide ongoing support to ensure that clients are fully utilizing NextGear Capital’s solutions. Hold regular meetings with key clients, adding value to each relationship. Portfolio Management: Lead the charge on risk mitigation, prevent delinquency, and manage field collections as necessary. Conduct on-site dealer audits, collaborate with Risk & Recovery, and help manage the entire lifecycle of our financial solutions. Collaborative Growth: Partner cross-functionally with teams across NextGear Capital and Cox Automotive to maximize client success and expand service reach. What We’re Looking For Experience: 3-5 years in finance, automotive, or related sales with a proven track record in portfolio management and business development. A degree and A-level equivalent are preferred, along with experience in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office. Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and time management skills. You thrive in high-pressure, results-driven environments and have a natural ability to build rapport with clients. Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the automotive market, from independent to franchised dealerships, and a drive to support and grow their business success. Why Join Us?
