About the Role (Two Days per Week): Delivering inspiring and engaging PE lessons across a range of disciplines, catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11). Creating a stimulating and well-equipped learning environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship and a positive attitude towards physical activity. Contributing to the ongoing development of the PE curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision and national guidelines. Potentially supporting with after-school sports clubs or fixtures, further enriching the school's sporting offer. Building positive relationships with students and fostering their confidence in a supportive and inclusive environment. Participating in departmental and whole-school events, contributing to the wider school community. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified PE teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students in physical activity. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for promoting lifelong participation in sports and fitness. Strong practical skills and the ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in a variety of sporting disciplines. A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a safe and enjoyable learning environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
