We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Rye Hill. HMP Rye Hill is a category B Prison located in Barby, Northamptonshire. The site currently houses around 650 patients with around 50% of these being over 50 years of age. Within this role you will be working as part of an established Pharmacy team covering ad hoc and regular shifts.
Hours: Shifts are based Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Salary: This is a bank role with an hourly salary of £28.82 per hour

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK due to the nature of the role; offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
As the Bank Clinical Pharmacist, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service
* Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensure a safe and modern medicines management service
* Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

Qualifications & Experience:
* Registered Pharmacist - holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Vocational Master’s Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
* Relevant post qualification experience
* Having a prescribing qualification would be advantageous
