As a Registered Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing a high-quality, trauma-informed children's home. What You'll Be Doing
1. Support Heal Care Group to raise the bar for children in care in everything we do.
2. Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring outstanding care.
3. Ensure compliance with The Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Ofsted requirements, and all relevant legislation.
4. Provide strong leadership, guiding and developing a high-performing care team.
5. Maintain and improve safeguarding standards, ensuring the safety and well-being of every child.
6. Manage referrals and placements, ensuring the right support is in place for each child.
7. Develop and implement individual care plans, working closely with external agencies.
8. Promote education and life skills, supporting children to reach their full potential.
9. Maintain high-quality record-keeping, reporting, and monitoring systems.
10. Ensure the home is well-presented, welcoming, and maintained to a high standard.
What We're Looking For
1. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete).
2. At least 2 years' experience in a leadership role within a children's residential setting.
3. Strong knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and Ofsted regulations.
4. Ability to inspire, develop, and lead a high-performing care team.
5. A full UK driver's license.
