As a Registered Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing a high-quality, trauma-informed children’s home. You’ll lead, inspire, and support a dedicated care team while ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. Your leadership will help create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where children can heal, grow, and thrive. What You’ll Be Doing ✅ Support Heal Care Group to raise the bar for children in care in everything we do. ✅ Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring outstanding care. ✅ Ensure compliance with The Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Ofsted requirements, and all relevant legislation. ✅ Provide strong leadership, guiding and developing a high-performing care team. ✅ Maintain and improve safeguarding standards, ensuring the safety and well-being of every child. ✅ Manage referrals and placements, ensuring the right support is in place for each child. ✅ Develop and implement individual care plans, working closely with external agencies. ✅ Promote education and life skills, supporting children to reach their full potential. ✅ Maintain high-quality record-keeping, reporting, and monitoring systems. ✅ Ensure the home is well-presented, welcoming, and maintained to a high standard. What We’re Looking For ✔ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete). ✔ At least 2 years’ experience in a leadership role within a children’s residential setting. ✔ Strong knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and Ofsted regulations. ✔ Ability to inspire, develop, and lead a high-performing care team. ✔ A full UK driver’s license.
