We are looking for a motivated and driven individual with good values, a genuine interest in building/construction and has experience in the construction sector. Under the leadership and direction of the Service Manager, you may have a range of responsibilities, including: To support all associated enforcement activity and partnership working as directed by Service Manager/Lead. Provide initial response following reports of potentially dangerous buildings, carry out inspection/site visit and report back to Lead/Manager. Monitoring condition of known defective buildings across Fife. Assisting in and be part of a Private Housing Standards or Building Standards Compliance and Public Safety Team or Operational Support Team as directed- assisting the associated Lead in discharging the responsibilities of that post. The Person If you meet the essential qualification criteria outlined below, we’d like to hear from you: Educated to SCQF level 7, which includes HNC or advanced Highers OR equivalent experience in Building Surveying or a related construction disincline. Knowledge of health & safety requirements, risk assessment and CDM. Knowledge of Building Standards & Public Safety legislation, regulations and service delivery.
