This post offers an exciting opportunity to work within our dynamic and innovative Critical Care Unit. As a Critical Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of the team providing outstanding care for our most highly dependent patients.
You will contribute to the Trust’s vision of Brilliant Care through meeting patients daily needs and supporting the day to day running of the unit. You will play a key role in collecting patient observation records, reporting any changes in condition, collecting, sorting and transporting specimens, all under the direction of our highly qualified Critical Care registered practitioners.
You will have the opportunity to work on your own initiative in a diverse and varied role, liaising with many different departments from across the Trust as well as with patients and carers.
This role will appeal to those from a care background who are empathetic and calm under pressure. An interest in high dependency care and prior experience in this environment would an advantage.
