Main duties of the job
As a Bank Chef at Barchester, you will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus while working with residents to tailor the menus to their preferences. You will be expected to help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes, and create a warm, efficient, and fun environment. The role also involves managing stock control, completing regular audits, and assisting in leading and motivating a team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* You must hold a City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification, have experience in helping lead and inspire a team, a good understanding of nutrition and working with fresh seasonal food, and a good understanding of HACCP.
