What skills and experience we're looking for
It is essential that the successful candidate is a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent) and will have practical experience working in finance (preferably in the education/ charity sectors). The successful candidate will be able to prepare management accounts, reconcile and manage balance sheet accounts, support schools in creating budgets, and work with internal and external audit teams.
The successful candidate will have an ability to work independently in a timely manner, achieving deadlines, with excellent IT skills. You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
