We love what we do, and we’re currently looking to welcome Support Workers to our Lanarkshire Houses service, based in Lanark & Carluke.
The Role: Support Worker
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting individuals with complex disabilities, helping them live independently within our distinctive care home setting. Here, our adult clients enjoy their own living spaces, either independently or shared with flatmates – it’s truly their home.
Your role will include providing one-to-one or two-to-one support, assisting with personal care, dressing, medication management, communication, mobility, meals, and engaging in activities of their choice. Activities could range from social outings with family to trips to the cinema or shopping – everything is tailored to our customers’ interests.
What You Need to Know:
Positions Available: 2 Support Workers
Hours: 20 hours per week, with a mix of weekdays and weekends, offering excellent work-life balance.
Location: Windmill Gardens, Carluke, ML8 4EZ, with the possibility of supporting our Dovecot Lane service in Lanark, ML11 7PX as needed.
Driver: Drivers are preferred but not essential. We welcome applications from non-drivers, though if you need to accompany a customer on outings, such as a dinner or cinema trip, travel expenses will be covered!

A generous salary of £12.06 per hour / £24 401.00 per annum FTE / £12,576.00 prorata (or £12.35 per hour, dependent on qualifications)
