The successful candidate will play a crucial role in producing accurate and timely financial information, supporting the budgeting process, and providing financial insights to inform strategic decision-making. Role Responsibilities: Production of Management Accounts in line with the financial reporting calendar Perform monthly management accounts review meetings and ensure meetings minutes and action points are circulated Preparation of audit pack and interim pack for audit review Maintenance of E-request system Monthly balance sheet reconciliation and review Supporting the Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager with the budgeting process Management of Assistant Management Accountant and Payroll Administrators Supporting the payroll function and associated reporting, including P11d and PSA VAT return Compilation of CT information Complete National Statistic Returns Support the Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager with League and Statutory Reporting and Cash Flows Review and circulate weekly MI reports Player tracking Commercial Facilities and capex People Club Wide Responsibilities: To adhere to all Sheffield United Football Club's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures to foster an environment which protects from harm those defined as children and adults at risk.
