Plant Financial Analyst (m/f/*)
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Plant Financial Analyst for the Bangor Manufacturing Plant in Northern Ireland, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
1. Providing insights and establish predictive analytics of financial performance to stakeholders to develop and improve upon Plant Financial P&L and Balance Sheet Targets
2. Leading plant teams through annual forecasting of the Operating Plan for the plant and input to other forecasting processes
3. Ensuring compliance with 3M Global Financial Standards (GAAP)
4. Ensuring that current products (SKUs) have appropriate costs during the annual inventory revaluation process.
5. Improving ROI for all plant Capital Investments (AFE – Authorization For Expenditures)
6. Possibly support other 3M plants as assigned.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:
7. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting/Finance
8. Previous experience in Finance and/or Accounting preferably within a manufacturing/supply chain environment (other industry's also considered)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
9. Possess an MBA, CMA or CPA certified
10. Demonstrates ability to act as a change agent
11. Strong written and verbal communication skills
12. Advanced knowledge of Excel
13. Experience of using SAP preferred but not essential

14. Flexible work location either on-site in Bangor (Northern Ireland) Hybrid or Remote
15. Travel expectations: May include up to 10% domestic (UK/Northern Ireland)
16. Relocation: Not authorized - Remote location is supported
17. Working pattern: Full time
