About Our Client
Amiblu is the world's largest manufacturer of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) pipes, with eight owned factories and 14 licensed factories globally. The group is headquartered in Austria and has a technology center (R&D) in Norway. Our social mission is to solve the world's water and wastewater challenges in a sustainable way.
Amiblu as a group have growth ambitions and a goal to double its turnover within a few years. We are currently making major investments to increase capacity at several of our factories.
In the UK & Ireland we have the ambition that more people experience the benefits of GRP pipes, and consequently build new markets within water segments, industry and energy.
Job Description
As a Technical Sales Manager your role will be to work on winning new projects with consultant engineers, framework contractors and multi utility stakeholders. You will be responsible for liaising with a diverse range of customers from people on site to CEOs and MDs of large organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Continuously support existing customers and develop cooperations with new customers in the assigned region.
2. Grow the market, search for new development opportunities for Amiblu products.
3. Provide technical advice on the proposed GRP products.
4. Achieve individual sales and margin targets.
5. Actively promote Amiblu products in the assigned region.
6. Participate in trade fairs and conferences.
The Successful Applicant
1. A proven Sales track record within Water / B2B Construction industry related background, or related sector such as Civils, Infrastructure, Drainage, M&E, HVAC.
2. Experience of specification sales working on large scale/long term projects with consultant engineers and multi utility contractors/stakeholders.
3. University degree, preferably in engineering is an advantage.
4. Able to work on own initiative, whilst also being a strong team player.
5. Knowledge of using CRM reporting systems and effective territory planning.
6. Ability to work on multiple projects at a time.
7. Readiness to go on frequent business trips, occasional visits to production and R&D plants in Europe and Scandinavia as requested.
8. Driving licence and valid passport.
