Job Title: CHA/PWT - Technician (Chassis & Powertrain Electronics) Location: Crewe, UK Job Type: Permanent Job Summary We are urgently seeking an Automotive Technician with expertise in Chassis & Powertrain Electronics to support prototype testing and software calibration for Bentley Motors. This on-site role requires hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, software flashing, and systems calibration, with a focus on maintaining compliance and precision in luxury automotive engineering. Key Responsibilities Vehicle Testing & Prototyping: Design, assemble, and install data logging equipment for prototype testing. Install and evaluate prototype parts, ensuring compatibility and performance. Perform vehicle assembly/disassembly for part installation and testing. Software & Diagnostics: Execute software updates and verify post-update functionality. Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults, dataset calibration, and test equipment issues. Systems Calibration: Calibrate front/rear radar and night vision systems to meet safety and performance standards. Conduct wheel swaps for winter testing and validation procedures. Documentation & Compliance: Test wire and Test Box setup to align with vehicle specifications. Ensure adherence to regulatory and engineering standards. Required Skills Technical Expertise: Proficiency in automotive software flashing, diagnostics, and fault finding. Experience with ECU development (ETK), especially in Engine/Transmission systems. Practical Knowledge: Ability to handle vehicle preparation, prototype part fitting, and data-logging equipment. Soft Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders. Valid UK driving license (mandatory).
